Controls Engineering Manager

Earthstream are recruiting Controls Engineering Manager to join leading automation company specialising in material handling systems.

The role

• Managing the Controls Department and achieving electrical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans.
• Ensure completion of electrical projects by supervising installation and resolving design issues.
• Manage staff performance to ensure the running of an effective and efficient Controls Department.
• Maintains electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and on-going maintenance, and testing programs; scheduling repairs; coordinating shutdowns and installations.
• Ensure completion of electrical projects by supervising installation and resolving design issues.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree qualification within engineering
• Strong background with Control Systems and Electrical Engineering
• Experience managing and running an engineering / control department.
• Experience delivering projects.
