Engineering Teacher

Location: Leeds City Centre

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: 36,000 - 39,000 per annum + 39 days holiday plus statutory holidays

About the Role:

A leading training provider is seeking an experienced Engineering professional to join their team in Leeds City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering training to a diverse range of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative engineering lessons
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback
• Prepare and deliver training materials
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and achievement
• Liaise with employers and other stakeholders
• Undertake continuous professional development

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and a desire to help learners succeed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A teaching qualification is not essential as the company will provide full training and support to obtain the necessary qualification. A full DBS check is preferred but not essential, as the company will cover the cost of a new DBS check.
