CNC 5 Axis Programmer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC 5 Axis Programmer to join our team. As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer, you will be responsible for programming offline using Hypermill for CNC 5 axis machines to produce high-quality components and products.

Responsibilities

• Program offline using Hypermill software for CNC 5 axis machines
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to develop efficient machining processes
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize CNC programs
• Validate CNC programs through simulation and test runs
• Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to ensure smooth production processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC programmer, specifically with 5 axis machines
• Proficiency in Hypermill software for offline programming
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and GD&T
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of machine tooling and cutting parameters

Day-to-day

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to review and optimize machining processes
• Develop and refine CNC programs using Hypermill software
• Perform simulations and test runs to validate CNC programs
• Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure production efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
