Monday - Thursday (Core hours) 4 day week!

Up to 37,500

EAP, 20 days + bank holidays, C2W + More

I am working with a top tier manufacturer of industrial products based in the Glasgow region, they also have a few other sites around the UK supplying into Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical and more.

Main Responsibilities:

• This is a desk based design position that would suit either a Design Engineer or a Draughtsman type position
• Following exisiting design drawings and changing depending on the job at hand
• You will have a specification sheet that shows the equipment needs, Then creating instructions and detailed drawings, Creating BOM's, and working closely with the buyer to purchase parts needed
• Working with the company ERP system to input any information
• Adhering to Health and safety policies
• Handling all admin work for the Quality and Engineering departments
• Working closely with customers to underand their needs/ specifications
• Understanding products that need to be ordered for work coming up from those customer specifications

To be considered for this position you will have knowledge of using an ERP system within an engineering/ mechanical company previously and you must have used some kind of CAD package previously. You will need to have full right to work in the UK for this position.
