Engineering lead

You will be joining a global financial institution, and will play a key role in the transformation of an already highly collaborative and effective development team.

The successful candidate will define and implement the software development strategy for a set of FX Technology products and apply business requirements and knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle to guide the development of complex software products and customer solutions.

Some responsibilities include

• Leading the engineering teams, providing significant expertise in high-quality software design, architecture, product domain, process automation, software validation and verification testing
• Create efficient software development processes
• Implement processes to produce code of the highest quality
• Design, develop and deliver software solutions that align with architecture, operational and risk processes.

You will lead a team of 15, consisting of highly talented QA's, devops and development professionals - and have a great opportunity to grow to a senior director within the business.

Key skills

• Proven experience in Java, with at least 15 years of solid development experience, preferably within trading systems
• Strong proficiency in modern Java and JVM technology.
• Experience in FX industry & regulated environments
• Solid grasp of multi-threading, low-latency, and concurrency concepts
• Strong understanding of AWS
