Technical Designer

A design and production studio specialising in creating luxury, bespoke events and innovative lighting solutions.

OVERVIEW

• Role: Technical Designer
• Location 5 days onsite in London
• Salary £55-58k

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the creative/design team to understand and interpret the conceptual vision of each project
• Develop detailed technical drawings, CAD models and fabrication plans that translate creative designs
• Collaborate with production and events team to ensure technical designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with external vendors, fabricators and suppliers to communicate technical requirements and ensure accurate execution of designs

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years proven experience in technical design with a focus in the events, exhibitions, or architectural sectors
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino)
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques and construction methods
• Knowledge of CNC and Metal Working is a plus
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A degree in Technical Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred but not essential
• Ability to commute to London office daily
